Christians are future-oriented. We serve a God who has no problems and only plans conceived before the foundation of the world. We are informed by the past, equipped to live confidently in the present, and look forward to the future because the Spirit has been poured out into our hearts. New Year’s is not an official church holyday, but it’s good and right for us to prepare as a church for A.D. 2018.
