Epiphany is the celebration of Jesus Christ appearing to the Gentiles. While His earthly ministry focused on the lost sheep of the house of Israel, this prepared His greater mission to the nations. The wise men were the first Gentiles we know of to see Jesus’ face, falling down to worship Him. Ever since that time the glory of God has been shining through the face of Jesus as we behold Him by faith. One day we will see Him face to face.
