The violent and tragic events of the last two weeks began with the death of George Floyd, pinned to the ground under the knee of police officer Derek Chauvin. Because the officer is white and the victim black, protests, riots, looting, and deaths (at least 17 so far) have followed, with more on the horizon. We are in desperate need of the good news of Jesus Christ who died to reconcile people of every tribe and tongue to God the Father, and to one another. He is the only way out of this mess.
