So far in Abram’s life, when God speaks to him, he does what he is told. He leaves his father house and the pagan gods in Ur and comes to the Promised Land. He lets Lot choose where he wants to go, and then looks around in every direction as the Lord shows him the land. King Melchizedek of Salem meets and blesses him, and he tithes. But now for the first time Abram asks God for answers. Many would think that a person with great faith doesn’t question God, but Abram demonstrates his faith by seeking answers.
