The Bible emphasizes the burial of Jesus Christ: “For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures”. Thus, the Apostles’ Creed: “He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried.” Death is a sure thing, and the time before resurrection matters. Even when we can’t see how God will bring life out death, He will, and so we must not forget in the dark what we know in the light. There is time before resurrection, and it’s a time of hope.
