Faith is not only the beginning of the Christian life. It’s the beginning, middle and end. Paul’s enemies had no problem including faith in their religious system; they just wanted to add the works of the law to be truly right with God. Paul can’t believe the Galatians are falling for it. They received the Spirit, suffered, grew, and witnessed miracles all by faith. A trusting relationship in God alone is oxygen for soul, and without it we suffocate.
