Dealing with Sin
The only fundamental difference between a marriages and households that thrive and those that wither is the way sin is dealt with. Good marriages are not the result of a perfect “match” or some lucky chemistry between two people. Think of every marriage as a beautiful, productive garden. What will it look like if left alone for two months? Sin grows like weeds, inevitable and invasive. When God promises to bless us to a thousand generations, He provides the means to deal with sin that otherwise so easily entangles.
