Always Reforming
The Reformation turns 499 tomorrow, but we can celebrate today because it’s true. As with so many momentous moments in history, Martin Luther had no idea what he was getting into when he nailed his 95 theses to the door of All Saints’ Church in Wittenberg. The result was a recovery and exaltation of God’s glory and His gospel. We don’t want to be embalmers of dead Reformed doctrines, but heirs of Reformational truth and love. The 5 Solas have been distilled recently from the Reformation, and while not comprehensive, they are choice.
