The fundamental fact of all reality is the Trinity. We could just say “God”, but referring to the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit causes us to remember the unity, fellowship, mutual indwelling, community, love, joy, and every good thing that exists in Him who is existence itself. Jesus prays for all believers to be one like He and Father are one. We come into the life of the Trinity through the Son, through the marriage between Christ and His church.
