The Lord’s Prayer teaches us to call on God our Father, our maker and redeemer, to exalt Him in heaven, zealously seek His holiness, desire His kingdom, and dedicate ourselves to follow Him. We cast all of our cares upon Him asking for daily bread, the forgiveness of sins, and committing to forgive others. We recognize own our proclivity to sin and seek deliverance from it and finish this prayer praising His dominion and glory. The Lord assures you daily of His goodness and provision by prayer.
