Ruth comes to know and love Yahweh through the witness of His people, including her troubled mother-in-law Naomi. Though Naomi urges her to return to Moab, her people and her old gods, Ruth clings to Naomi and proclaims a love stronger than death. Her love for Naomi reveals a deeper one for God whose loved conquered sin and death to bring His people home.
