In Psalm 37:4, we receive a wonderful exhortation and promise - "Delight yourself in the LORD, and he will give you the desires of your heart". As Christians we often think of God's love for us and our responsibility to love others, obey, and be faithful. Here we find an important reminder that in all this we have the opportunity to find pleasure and ultimate satisfaction. We learn from David, and throughout the Bible, how to align ourselves to God's will and become partakers of the divine nature.
