Jesus taught us to pray that God’s kingdom would come, that His will would be done on earth as it is in heaven. Paul believes that this prayer will be answered in the affirmative, that Christ will accomplish what He tells His disciples to pray for. Jesus’ kingdom is not from this world, but it comes to and advances in this world when we worship and honor the Lord.
