Psalm 41 concludes Book 1 of the Psalter, showing that blessed man of Psalm 1 will not be overthrown by his enemies described in Psalm 2, not even by his close friend who betrays him (v. 9). This psalm is fulfilled by Christ but it applies to all who follow Him.
