The Right to Life
On January 22nd, 1973, the U.S. Supreme Court legalized abortion-on-demand in all 50 states. Eleven years later in 1984, President Reagan designated January 22nd as National Sanctity of Human Life Day, and every year on this Sunday millions of Christians recognize this atrocity. Abortion has claimed over 60 million lives in the U.S. and will continue to be the most contentious issue until either it is outlawed or our country comes apart. We must think and act like Christians, interceding for the helpless, doing justice, loving mercy, and walking humbly with our God.
